Arrival Airport BARI, October 6, 2025. Our driver, Sheila, and Chef Walter will await the guests' arrival at the terminal. The journey to the Hotel is about one hour south.
Home Base for the week. Casale del Murgese in Savelletri, Fasano Area (Province of Brindisi)
Day 1 Arrival on Monday, October 6, 2025.
Check into the Hotel. Welcome Cocktail. Evening Dinner at our Casale del Murgese hotel. Brief orientation about the week's program.
Day 2 - Tuesday, October 7 - Lecce
Breakfast: Departure to Lecce the Florence of the south. history and culture walk in the historic Baroque city center, followed by a visit the Jewish Museum. Lunch in Lecce at a selected traditional Apulian restaurant. Free-time, and resume a tasting on the local pastry Pasticciotto at Oronzo Pasticceria. Return to our Casale del Murgese hotel. Break, and back in the kitchen for a cooking class on a local specialty with with wines.
Day 3 - Wednesday, October 8 - Ostuni - Alberobello
Breakfast. Departure to the white city of Ostuni. History and Culture Walk. Afternoon Wine and olive oil tasting with Food in Ostuni at Ostuni Palace, conducted by Professional Sommelier Stefano Semerano. Afternoon visit to the Iconic Trulli in Alberobello. Return to the Hotel for a break, followed by a Puglia traditional dinner in nearby Fasano at Martume' Ristorante.
Day 4 - Thursday, October 9 - Matera
Breakfast: Departure to Matera in the Basilicata Region, the city where Mel Gibson filmed the Passion of Christ movie in 2004. History and Culture Walk. Lunch in the stone city. Free Time. Afternoon departure to Pezze di Greco, for tasting Wine and olive oil with Food at Monsignore Winery. Free Evening, to enjoy the stunning landscape.
Day 5 - Friday, October 10 - Bari - Polignano a Mare
Breakfast: Departure to Bari. Street Food Experience in Bari Vecchia. Mandatory visit to the pasta alley to meet orecchiette Queen Angela, and much more. Free Time. Late afternoon, travel to Polignano. Visit to the splendid and romantic setting, followed by a Gelato Tasting at Martinucci. Put an apron on in the evening for a Cooking Class with Food and Wine at hotel's kitchen, on a traditional Apulian delicacy..
Day 6 - Saturday, October 11 - Brindisi
Breakfast. Departure to Brindisi. History and culture walk with Sheila. Wine tasting with lunch at historic Enoteca Anelli, presented by Chiara Anelli. Afternoon travel to San Vito dei Normanni to visit the wonder pastry Chef Luca Marangi at Emalu. Tasting with the appropriate beverages. Return to our Casale for a surprise tasting on locally-made cheeses with organic wines.
Day 7 - Sunday, October 12 - Torre Canne - Savelletri - Fasano
Breakfast. Visit the Adriatic shores and the Egnazia Roman Excavation ruins. Lunch in a farm at Pantaleo Agriculture in the village of Speziale. Return to the Hotel. Pack. Farewell dinner.
Day 8 - Monday, October 13
Breakfast: Guests will be driven to the Bari Airport for their return destinations.

1) Dietary restrictions will be addressed on the arrival day, October 6.

3) Sheila Filipponi, a professional guide and coordinator, will accompany you during your tour.
